For mono—graph I wanted to create a brand that was classical in nature but allowed each publication piece to have freedom of expression and individuality. I am creating each of the pencil sketch in 53 Paper so I used their cream-toned neutral as the background color for those pieces.

I offset the cream with a much darker tone of the same cream to create the warm gray that forms the basis of the brand.

For the wordmark I was really taken by Great Simple's recent 2017 Google Font specimen and I used Asul as the primary font for this brand.
